• Construction:
  • It consists of four pairs of twisted copper wires, similar to standard Cat5e cables. However, it has additional shielding to protect against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI). The shielding is usually made of a metallic material, such as aluminum foil or braided copper, which surrounds the twisted pairs.
  • The cable is encased in a durable outer sheath that is designed to withstand the elements.
